   "THINK ULTIMATE OPTIMISM"

Background Art by Adonis at age 7

I'm so very proud to be the Grand Mother of Adonis. He  is such a fun loving & brilliant little boy growing up so fast, where he has a Golden Opportunity to be anything he wants to be.  Including President of the United States of America. Adonis has always been a very indepedent young boy, since his earlier beginning . He is Full of Energy and Enthusiasm in all that he sets out to do,  as most young boys are his age . He loves to read, ride his bike, play with his sister, friends & and pet dog named Peanut. He also enjoy's roller skating, football & soccer, too!  And as we can clearly see with the  background art he did on this page, He's pretty good at that too!

Adonis enjoys school and makes good grades to prove it. Adonis goes to church every Sunday & Wednesday & often shares what he learns. Giving in charity is one of the regular things he does. He is moved by the homeless & those with less than others. He once told me he wants to be a minister when he grows up, and that would be quite Okay with me.

Adonis wrote a wonderful story about President  Barack Obama last year, for a school project and got an A for his great works! And as always we were very proud of him. With school just ending, Adonis will now be going to the 3rd grade when school starts again. I was very happy to write a book entitled A Little Prince Adonis, to create something leaving a mark when I'm gone one day. To share with the world what a happy Grand Mother I really was in my life. It is truly a Blessing to have survived Breast Cancer in 1992, to be able to be here today to enjoy the fruits of God's Righteous Plan for my life.  And I'm  looking ahead to More Abundance, that He has in store for me!

UPDATES ABOUT ADONIS

Since school started Adonis has been moving right along with his studies, as well as scoring big on his footbal team. Where he recently scored 20 points, Okay !

I would like for him to meet Michael Vick, and the former Chiefs Pro, Neil Smith in my hometown of Kansas City. He is rael good at throwing the football. And He taught me how to hold the ball correctly, so now I can throw it better and further whenever I play with him.

When I shared with him that Shareef Abdur-Raheem purchased his grandmother a Mercedez when he  first went Pro. He then said that he would buy me one too!

LOVING IT!!!!!!

"ANOTHER LITTLE CHILD MAY BE LOST"

(If With Them We Don't Engage)

Parents don’t always set the best examples

Before their children these days

They’d rather beat them like they were slaves,

then to be a role model in the best of way

Our children are suffering at the hands of their own parents, often times

And it’s so sad that many have closed their eyes, to their own baby’s cries

ANOTHER LITTLE CHILD MAY BE LOST!

Living a lie in the public eye, but behind closed doors its back to disbelieve

And you’ve got so many people fooled, as

You continue to deceive

Dead beat Dads, sometimes living right at home

But with no ease

With restlessness in his own soul, so he has no real peace

ANOTHER LITTLE CHILD MAY BE LOST

It’s written, to turn the other cheek

For what

Another little precious life suffering in pure agony, is that enough?

And it seems that everyone is too busy to recognize

The sadness in God’s little children, so we keep right on with our lies

ANOTHER LITTLE CHILD MAY BE LOST

And although the law states that it’s forbidden to beat your child

Mental anguish and abuse is just as bad,

Painful and so wild

It’s through a parent’s anger, that now the child becomes fearful

So concentrating in school will now fade, and

Consequences, they become many & tearful

ANOTHER LITTLE CHILD MAY BE LOST

But Don't Let It Be To Late They Need Us At All Cost !

HUNGER IN THE LAND

There is to much hunger all over the land

And as sad as it is, I don’t understand

That for all the people who have enough

Seems they don’t share with those who

Have it rough

Some have to much; while others nothing

At all

Some must change their ways and give

Welfare a call

When hungry little children look up to you

What can you expect a poor mother to do?

Get a job; I’ve tried until my feet are sore

And start at dawn the next day to try once more

But with layoffs, and set backs from time to time

We must do something, so off to the welfare line

The critics will yell that you shouldn’t

Be there

I can't find a job but what do they care

It blows my mind when I try to understand

How can this happen in our beautiful land

We sing our songs about amber waves

Of grain

But an empty belly knows nothing but pain

How can there be any brotherhood

When all ther really seems to be,

Is mis-understood

Our government allows food to rot away

As warehouses burst with food day after

Day

Yet some say they want to help the needy

And poor

But I don’t really think they care anymore

Next time you don’t finish that food on your plate

Remember for some kids help is too late

You shake your head and say you don’t

Understand

Reality is; hunger is in the land
